- Military Report: Six Individuals Reportedly Killed Amongst Captives in Gaza
The Israeli military allegedly recovered the corpses of six captives in the Gaza Strip. These lifeless individuals were discovered in Khan Yunis, a city located in the southern coastal region, during the night hours of Tuesday. The military made this announcement.
Five out of these six individuals were within the age range of 35 to 80. Previously, the army had announced their demise, but they were still alive when they were seized.
As per Israeli data, Hamas continues to keep 109 hostages captive, many of whom might have perished.
At present, the US Secretary of State, Blinken, is in the Middle East to negotiate a truce in the Gaza conflict and the release of the hostages. For the first time in a while, there's optimism. Israel has agreed to the latest US-supported ceasefire proposal, Blinken mentioned during a press conference on Monday.
Palestinian terrorists abducted a total of 253 individuals from Israel and transported them to the coastal region on October 7, the previous year. Some were set free in an exchange for prisoners, while others were liberated by the Israeli military, often leading to significant losses for the Palestinian civilian population, a situation that Israel has attracted criticism for globally.
