Mike Johnson creates unforgettable instance during Trump's trial.

In Germany, the chairperson of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, has been notorious for holding back on providing aid to Ukraine. Despite his influential role in the US, he's causing yet another stir while mocking the US judiciary during Trump's trial.

Mike Johnson, theRepublican leader in the US House of Representatives, and the second-in-line successor to the presidency, has made headlines by showing up at the courthouse where the hush money trial involving former President Donald Trump is taking place. With his appearance, he signaled that his Republican Party is taking action against the federal and state legal systems. He also announced his renewed loyalty to Trump.

A lawyer by profession, Johnson stated that the court system is corrupt and the trial against Trump is a farce. "This isn't about justice," Johnson exclaimed in a park near the courthouse in New York. "It's about politics." He even questioned the credibility of the prosecution's key witness, Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen. Cohen testified for the second day in a row on Tuesday.

Johnson was the highest-ranking Republican to attend a courthouse event with Trump. As someone who has leveraged his office to criticize the US justice system, his position in the House of Representatives is reliant on Trump's backing. He's already tried to strengthen his alliance with Trump previously.

Trump may be indirectly sending messages because of the restraining order

In response, Trump's campaign team has enlisted several allies in recent days to appear at the courthouse to attack witnesses and others, something Trump himself cannot do due to a restraining order by Judge Juan M. Merchan.

Several politicians joined Trump's side, including US Congressman Byron Donalds, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Potential vice presidential candidates for Trump like US Representative Byron Donalds and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum were also present.

On Monday, US Senators JD Vance and Tommy Tuberville were at the court. The US Senator Rick Scott mentioned that he visited the courthouse last week following an invitation from Trump advisor Susie Wiles. The campaign team stated that more people had offered to travel to New York and show solidarity with Trump.

The presence of these politicians and their criticisms toward the trial and the people involved allowed Trump to spread his message without facing another violation of the comment ban imposed by Judge Merchan. Johnson aimed his attacks at three people whom Trump is not legally allowed to insult publicly: Cohen, prosecutor Matthew Colangelo, and Merchan's daughter.
