U.S. actor Michael Madsen, famed for his roles in films like "Kill Bill" and "Reservoir Dogs", found himself in hot water over the weekend when authorities in California arrested him on allegations of domestic violence. The incident took place in Malibu, following a family squabble, as reported by "Entertainment Weekly" after obtaining a police statement. Madsen's spouse claimed she was coerced out of the house and subsequently locked out.

Madsen's representative confirmed a "domestic incident" between the actor and his spouse, DeAnna Madsen, aged 64, as per "Variety" on Monday. They hoped the situation could be resolved peacefully between the couple. Following his payment of a $20,000 bail, Madsen regained his freedom. The couple tied the knot back in 1996.

Madsen, previously known for his portrayal of hostile characters, gained recognition for his collaborations with director Quentin Tarantino. He starred in features such as "Reservoir Dogs - Wild Hounds", "Kill Bill", "The Hateful Eight" and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". The multifaceted actor also featured in films like "Thelma & Louise", "Wyatt Earp - The Legend Lives On", "After Sunset", and "James Bond 007 - Die Another Day".

After discussing the situation with his spouse, I'm not going to disclose further details about the domestic incident. Regardless of the allegations, I assure everyone that I will continue focusing on my acting career.
