Manchester City is interested in signing Spanish national football player Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig, according to a media report. The 26-year-old is on Manchester City's list of targets from trainer Pep Guardiola, as reported by TV-Sender Sky.

According to the report, there is an exit clause in Olmo's contract worth €60 million. The deadline for this clause expires this month. FC Barcelona is also reportedly interested in the offensive player. However, neither of the two clubs have contacted Leipzig yet.

Olmo scored the opening goal against Germany in the EURO 2020 quarter-finals and set up the 2:1 deciding goal. He therefore had a decisive role in the elimination of the German team. In the semi-finals, Spain faces France on Tuesday (21.00 Uhr/ZDF and MagentaTV) in Munich. Due to Team colleague Pedri's injury, Olmo had to start again.
