Big deployment - Man with weapon reported: Police search City Hall in Reutlingen

In the Reutlingen Town Hall, there was a larger police operation on Tuesday morning. A city hall employee reported to a police spokesperson around 8:30 am that a man with a weapon was inside the building. Therefore, the building was surrounded by the police and searched for the man.

Reutlingen: Residents should avoid area around Town Hall

Initially, the police called on the platform X for people to avoid the area around the Town Hall. Later, they gave the all-clear: "The operation is now over. Our emergency response teams could not find anything suspicious," it was stated. The barricade around the Town Hall was dismantled.

The incident at the Town Hall was a top-news story, with many outlets reporting on the man with a weapon who was thesubject of the operation.
