A 51-year-old man was seriously injured in a car accident in the Vechta district. The man collided with an oncoming car of unknown cause on a county road in the municipality of Holdorf on a Wednesday evening, the police reported on Thursday. The 24-year-old driver and the 20-year-old passenger of the other car were also seriously injured. The rescue helicopter brought the three injured persons to a hospital. The investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
