A widely-shared video on the internet, which allegedly shows a dispute at a ticket control on a Regionalexpress train in Duesseldorf, has prompted investigations by the Federal Police. The clip was reportedly posted illegally on a Social Media platform.

According to the Federal Police, the incident occurred on a Friday in the train, leading to a verbal altercation between a passenger and the train conductor. The background, as stated by the Federal Police, was an invalid ticket carried by the increasingly aggressive passenger. An unidentified man recorded the dispute and subsequently posted the video.

The train conductor, who discovered the video later, filed a report. The Federal Police stated in their announcement that sharing images or videos of other individuals without their consent or distortion in social media is punishable.

The dispute occurred within the boundaries of North Rhine-Westphalia, specifically on a Regional Express train in Düsseldorf. Despite the confrontational behavior of the passenger due to an invalid ticket, they demonstrated a strong determination to continue their journey. Unfortunately, the incident also involved a glimpse of criminality, as the unidentified man recorded and illegally shared the video on a social media platform.
