- "Love Sucks" - the start of the ZDF vampire series is fixed

"Following 'Twilight' and 'The Vampire Diaries', fans of handsome bloodsuckers now get a German vampire production to enjoy. In the fantasy series 'Love Sucks' on ZDFneo, boxer Zelda (Havana Joy) and the mysterious Ben (Damian Hardung) fall head over heels in love. But a dark secret turns their families into bitter enemies. Amid an ancient conflict between vampires and hunters, they fight for their love.

The bloody production, featuring 25-year-old Damian Hardung as vampire Ben, will be available to watch in the ZDF media library from Friday, October 11th. The eight-part series was already awarded the prestigious Bernd Burgemeister Television Award as the best series in late June. The bravely produced episodes were described as a visual experience by the jury at the Munich Film Festival."

Fans who have enjoyed watching 'Twilight' and 'The Vampire Diaries' will no doubt be drawn to the television view of 'Love Sucks', where the intense romantic relationship between Zelda and Ben is complicated by a dark secret. Despite the series' success, with the eight-episodes winning the Bernd Burgemeister Television Award, some viewers may find the vampire-hunter conflict too intense for their taste.
