Lithuania delivers additional military assistance to Ukraine

Lithuania Stands By Ukraine with another Military Aid Package in Their Battle Against Russian Aggression. Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė declared this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish President Andrzej Duda, as reported by Unian agency. "Lithuania's stance is unambiguous and widely recognized: Ukraine needs to triumph, Russia needs to fall," she was quoted saying.

Expectedly, Kyiv will receive approximately 5,000 drones from Lithuania by autumn. Before that, Lithuania intends to supply ammunition, firearms, air defense systems, rockets, and gear for drone protection by early September. Moreover, Lithuania is allocating 35 million euros for the acquisition of radar devices and mine-clearing equipment, mentioned Šimonytė. The worth of the new military aid package was not revealed.

The Baltic nation and EU and NATO member, Lithuania, stands as one of Ukraine's most energetic supporters. By May alone, Lithuania has handed out roughly 640 million euros in military assistance.

Lithuania's upcoming military aid package includes the supply of drones, ammunition, firearms, air defense systems, rockets, and gear for drone protection to Ukraine by early September. This latest military aid, valued in millions of euros, is one more example of Lithuania's unwavering commitment to providing Ukraine with necessary military aid.
