After a fire at an agricultural hall causing several hundred thousand Euros in damage in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen, the police have determined the cause of the fire. Preliminary findings indicate that a lightning strike caused the fire in Ascha, according to the police. Arson is ruled out. The hall had been ablaze on Saturday evening. In it were stored amongst other things, hundreds of hay bales. According to reports, no people or animals were injured. The fire department was occupied with the firefighting efforts all night long.

The fire occurred in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen, specifically in the town of Ascha. The damage to the agricultural hall is estimated to be several hundred thousand Euros. Despite the extensive damage, arson has been ruled out as the cause of the fire. The District of Straubing-Bogen is located in the larger region of Bavaria, Germany.
