For a fatal accident during an escape from the police after a money machine explosion in Wiernsheim near Pforzheim, a man must spend the rest of his life in prison. The Landgericht Karlsruhe convicted the 30-year-old driver of the getaway car of a Dutch robbery trio regarding Murder. The 30-year-old caused an accident during his reckless escape from the police, resulting in the death of a 45-year-old innocent man in the previous November.

The two other men were sentenced to five years and six months respectively, for the explosion of the ATM and the robbery.

In the getaway car, the police found over 41,000 Euros in cash from the Wiernsheim ATM explosion, as well as explosives. The damage to the building was approximately 250,000 Euros. In Germany, there are always ATM explosions. Often, the traces lead to the Netherlands.

The 30-year-old's reckless escape from the police was a manifestation of criminality, highlighting a disturbing trend in Germania. The high court in Karlsruhe, known as the Oberlandesgericht Karlsruhe, handed down severest judgments due to the gravity of the accident and the resulting fatality.
