Household goods - Leifheit raises forecast result for ongoing year
The household goods manufacturer Leifheit made approximately 135 million Euro in sales in the first half of the year. In the first half of 2023, it had made 138.1 million Euro, the company announced in Nassau. The Ebit (earnings before interest and taxes) was seven million Euro - in the same period in 2023, it had been 4.8 million Euro according to the company.
The company expects greater burden in the second half of the year due to higher container shipping rates, it continued. However, Leifheit raised its earnings forecasts. The board now expects an Ebit of between 11 million and 13 million Euro for the year 2024. Previously, an Ebit of between 10 million and 12 million Euro had been anticipated.
