Lebanon is launching extensive bombing attacks against Israel
On a Thursday, Israel's military strikes Hezbollah locations in Lebanon. In response, it appears Hezbollah, the pro-Iranian militia, is retaliating, as per Israeli news reports. Over a hundred projectiles are reportedly fired into northern Israel, according to the army. Greek-sounding warning alarms blared in the northern regions of Israel. Israel's media suggests that fires have started due to these strikes, but no initial reports of injuries have surfaced.
Hezbollah, the militant group that challenges Israel's existence, claims several attacks, according to their own statement. They even claim to have launched "volleys of Katyusha rockets" towards Israel in certain instances. Residents in various spots in northern Israel are urged to remain close to their shelters. Israel's army had bombarded around a hundred rocket launch sites belonging to the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia in the neighboring nation on Thursday.
Since the commencement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip following the Hamas attack on Israel nearly a year ago, there have almost been daily clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah in the Israeli-Lebanese border region. Hezbollah asserts that their actions are motivated by solidarity with Hamas.
In Lebanon, approximately 600 individuals have lost their lives, most of them Hezbollah members. In Israel, as per the army's statistics, 52 people have perished, inclusive of 26 civilians. The Iran-supported Hezbollah militia accuses Israel of causing the recent blasts in their electronic communication devices.
The ongoing Conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Hezbollah has led to a significant escalation, with Hezbollah retaliating after Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
