An event involving an explosion took place outside a nightclub in Cologne. The authorities have swarmed the scene and sealed off the area, situated on Hohenzollernring between Rudolfplatz and Friesenplatz. According to the press, there's one individual who sustained minor injuries.

As per a police representative, the area has been closed off, and there's been no initial disclosure on the cause of the explosion or any potential harm. Concurrently, "Radio Cologne" relayed news about a single person incurring minor injuries.

A representative from the fire department mentioned they were alerted, but their intervention was not required. The public was urged to steer clear of the zone surrounding the explosion site. The entrance of a business establishment sustained considerable harm, as reported by WDR.

It seems that the establishment in question may be the nightclub "Vanity". As suggested by Bild, the entrance to the club was terribly impacted by the blast.

The police representative stated that the area is closed off for investigations, and they are yet to reveal the cause of the explosion. With the explosion, the nightclub "Vanity" sustained significant damage to its entrance, as reported by Bild.
