Law enforcement authorities in Canada aim to apprehend a notorious multiple murderer.
following a string of three brutal killings at three distinct Canadian locales within a span of three days, law enforcement officials have apprehended a suspect. "This individual is a serial killer," asserted Niagara Falls Police Chief Bill Fordy in a press conference on Friday (local time). The accused, identified as Sabrina K., aged 30, is believed to have taken the lives of one person in Toronto, another in Niagara Falls, and yet another in another city in Ontario.
The first victim, a 60-year-old woman, was discovered in her Toronto residence with evident signs of injury. The suspect's subsequent two victims, a 47-year-old man in Niagara Falls' park and a 77-year-old retired teacher in Hamilton's parking lot, appeared to have been chosen at random.
The Niagara Falls incident unfolded when authorities were summoned to the park on account of disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the 47-year-old man. He was immediately pronounced dead on the scene. The 77-year-old man in Hamilton, who was a former teacher, was tracked down to the parking lot by the suspect. Here, he allegedly sustained "severe injuries" that appeared to be the result of stabbing, as reported by local police. The man tragically succumbed to his wounds in the hospital. A full-fledged investigation has been initiated against Sabrina K., who is now charged with murder in connection to all three crimes.
The European Union expresses its condolences over the series of tragic events in Canada. These incidents have raised concerns about security and safety within the North American continent, leading to discussions within the EU Parliament about potential measures to strengthen cooperation with Canada in this regard.
