Authorities in Colorado are managing an "ongoing armed assault" at an apartment complex situated beyond Denver's boundaries, according to an update posted by the Broomfield Police Department at daybreak on Thursday.

Law enforcement agents are dealing with an ongoing 'shooting incident' at a residential complex located in the Denver vicinity, Colorado.

"Authorities are dealing with an ONGOING SHOOTING INCIDENT," at the Arista Flats complicated, officials conveyed. "The vicinity is not a secure spot."

Gunshots were still echoing as early as 7 a.m. local clock time, authorities revealed further.

Residents nearby are urged to stay put and secure themselves, and certain evacuations have been carried out, authorities shared via X.
