After the collapse of a hotel in the Mosel town of Kröv, with two fatalities, the last surviving person was rescued from the rubble. The woman was carried out of the building to applause nearly 24 hours after the collapse, as confirmed by a fire department spokesperson.

The rescue operation attracted a crowd of onlookers, many of whom were moved to tears upon seeing the resilience of the last surviving individual, a woman. Subsequently, the local community organized a fundraiser to support the affected women and their families.
