- Opel is recalling models Astra, Grandland, and Mokka, totaling 46,435 cars worldwide, with 4,179 in Germany (KBA number: 013328, manufacturer code: KIV).
- DS has also announced the recall of models DS3 and DS4. Exact figures for the number of recalled vehicles are unknown (KBA number: 013327, manufacturer code: JZC).
As of today, there have been no reported incidents resulting in financial damage or physical injuries attributable to the software error. To address the issue, manufacturers plan to update the engine control unit's software.
