Following the decision against his membership of the future AfD European delegation, Krah said that he considered the move to be strategically wrong.

Upcoming European balloting - Krah views his omission from the AfD delegation as an error.

Maximilian Krah, the controversial MP who was left out of the AfD delegation in the new European Parliament, won't be joining a right-wing faction individually at the moment. In an interview with Politico, he stated, "My colleagues think they'll return to ID (Identity and Democracy) and have a better shot if they ditch me. I consider that a mistake, but I respect their decision." ID is a right-wing and nationalist group comprising different parties.

Krah plans to observe his colleagues' endeavors from the sidelines, saying, "I'm telling you now: It will fail. Then the deck will be reshuffled." The AfD was ousted from the ID faction before the European election due to Krah's controversial remarks about the SS and a China spy scandal involving his aide.

Moreover, Krah advises the AfD to unite and form a new faction in the European Parliament with these right-wing newcomers. "They're innovative, not dirty. We should show the courage to connect with these parties that are currently looking to align with the AfD." However, the AfD's newly-elected MEPs selected a motion to oust their top candidate, Krah, from the delegation. Since then, 15 AfD politicians have seats in the European Parliament, but the delegation only has 14 members at present. The AfD gained 15.9% in the German European election.
