Kim has conducted missile launcher tests, as reported.

Kim Jong Un, North Korea's leader, recently supervised the testing of an upgraded multiple rocket launcher system, as reported by the state-owned news agency, KCNA. This improved system features advanced guidance and 240mm-caliber projectiles.

There have been repeated allegations by both American and South Korean officials that North Korea has been supplying substantial quantities of artillery shells to Russia's military. A South Korean lawmaker provides evidence from an intelligence report, suggesting that North Korea might have transported approximately 13,000 containers loaded with potential weapons to Russia since 2022. These containers could contain as many as six million artillery shells, according to Yonhap.

Kim Commends Drone Production

Only recently, on Saturday, Kim expressed his support for the growth and manufacturing of additional suicide drones. He deemed this as a vital aspect of war preparation. Suicide drones, also known as kamikaze drones, entail unmanned aerial vehicles armed with explosives, which are deliberately guided towards enemy targets.

Tensions in the Korean Peninsula have increased considerably. In response, the United States and South Korean military forces are currently conducting a major military exercise designed to deter North Korea. North Korea's Foreign Ministry has labeled these military exercises as "provocative war drills," and a precursor to a nuclear war. Washington and Seoul refute these accusations made by Pyongyang.

Over the past two years, North Korea has intensified its rocket testing and escalated its hostility towards the U.S. and South Korea. Moreover, North Korea has strengthened its military ties with Russia. Since the Korean War (1950-53), North and South Korea have remained divided. To this day, neither country has signed a peace treaty.

South Korea closely monitored the situation after allegations of North Korea supplying artillery shells to Russia's military emerged. These claims suggested that North Korea transported approximately 13,000 containers loaded with potential weapons to Russia since 2022.

During a recent address, Kim Jong Un expressed his support for the growth and manufacturing of suicide drones in South Korea would face significant challenges if North Korea continued its escalating hostilities.
