Kiev reports massive Russian airstrikes
According to Kiev, Russia once again carried out massive airstrikes on the south and east of Ukraine on Friday night. According to the Ukrainian air force, the Russian army fired two missiles and 25 Iranian-made Shahed drones. 18 drones and one missile were intercepted.
According to information from Kiev, the Russian armed forces have stockpiled drones and missiles for systematic attacks on the weakened Ukrainian energy supply during the winter months.
Kiev is expecting a similar Russian offensive against the Ukrainian energy infrastructure this winter as last winter. Hundreds of thousands of people were left without electricity or heating after massive airstrikes in freezing temperatures.
The Russian military has been accused of initiating another war of aggression, as Kiev endured yet another round of air raids. These recent attacks targeted critical infrastructure in Kiev and other parts of Ukraine.
