Summer signing Max Geschwiller (SV Sandhausen) made his first 30-minute appearance after being sidelined due to a midfoot fracture. Regarding further transfer plans, Rapp stated: "We have many players who can play different positions. We'll get by with this squad quite well. But we currently only have 21 field players."

It should not happen too much in the coming weeks considering potential injuries or illnesses. The goal is to increase both quantity and quality in the squad without undue time pressure.
