Kibbutz in Israel finds deceased paramedic.
On the 7th of October, reports suggest that paramedic Dolev Jehud is aiding the victims of Hamas' violent onslaught. However, he subsequently vanished, leading to speculation that he had been taken captive by Hamas. Recently, his body was discovered in southern Israel. Simultaneously, his sister Ela Jehud remains in Hamas' custody.
The Israeli military revealed that they've found the body of a paramedic in southern Israel, initially thought to be held captive by Hamas. Dolev Jehud, age 35, was slain by Hamas during their attack on Israel on the 7th of October, as per the army. Jehud's body was unearthed in Kibbutz Nir Oz, which borders the Gaza Strip.
Jehud ventured out during the Hamas' vicious strike on Israel with the intention to "save lives." Israeli officials previously believed he was being held captive in the Gaza Strip. Jehud's sister, Arbel Jehud, is still being detained by Hamas.
Hamas and other militant Palestinian groups launched an unprecedented assault on Israel on the 7th of October, resulting in the deaths of 1190 individuals and the abduction of approximately 250 people to the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli estimates. Of these abductees, 120 are still being held captive by Hamas, while 37 are believed to have already lost their lives.
To retaliate against the horrific attack, Israel commenced a massive operation in the Gaza Strip. As per the health minister of Gaza, who cannot be independently confirmed, over 36,400 people have lost their lives as a consequence.
