2. Football-Bundesliga - Karlsruher SC hopes for the staying of offensive duo

Soccer-Second division team Karlsruher SC is still counting on the presence of Georgian National player Budu Siwsiwadze and his striker partner Fabian Schleusener. "We'll first check Budu's fitness and health when he joins the team on July 17. We'll also have a talk with him. As of now, I assume everyone will stay with us," said Sebastian Freis, Professional sector manager at KSC, in an interview with "Badische Neuesten Nachrichten".

The North Baden team is currently in training camp in Austria. Midfielder Eren Öztürk is not present. "We have discussed with him that he will continue to be evaluated until the end of the training camp, and then we will gather and see how it goes," explained Freis.

Regarding possible new signings, the ex-pro said: "We have until September 1 to complete transfers. We don't plan to close any deals where we would have to react to changes at other places."
