Post on X - It was the greatest honor of my life

My dear fellow Americans, over the last three and a half years, our nation has made great strides.

Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We have made historic investments in rebuilding our nation, lowered costs for senior citizens' medications, and provided record access to affordable healthcare for Americans. We have helped a million veterans who were exposed to toxic substances, passed the first gun safety law in 30 years, appointed the first black woman to the Supreme Court, and passed the most significant climate protection law in the world. America has never been in a better position to lead the world than now.

I know none of this would have been possible without you, the American people. Together, we have overcome a century-pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We have protected and preserved our democracy and revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.

It was the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And although I had planned to run for re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of the party and the country for me to step aside and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President until the end of my term.

I will turn to the nation in the coming week to announce my decision. For now, I only want to express my deepest gratitude. To all who worked so hard on my re-election campaign. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in this endeavor. And I deeply respect and am grateful for the faith and trust the American people placed in me.

I still believe today, as I have always believed, that there is nothing America cannot accomplish when we come together. We just need to remember that we are the United States of America.

Joe Biden's decision not to run for re-election as President has been a topic of Top News worldwide. On Twitter, the literal meaning of his announcement sparked various Headlines, with many expressing gratitude for his service and leadership. Understandably, this development has significant implications for America's future in the World.
