In the wake of the revelation of six hostages' bodies in the Gaza Region, Israel's Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, declared a stern retaliation against Hamas. "The terrorist group Hamas mercilessly executed six hostages to instill terror and aim to fragment Israeli society," Katz posted on X.
"Israel will retaliate emphatically to this appalling act. Hamas holds accountability and will bear the full consequences." The Israeli military announced on a Sunday morning break that the bodies of six hostages had been found within an underground tunnel in the southern Gaza Region.
As reported by the Israeli Ministry of Health, according to media reports, the hostages were terminated at close range around 48 to 72 hours prior to the examination of the bodies. Nevertheless, a Hamas spokesperson claimed that the hostages had perished due to Israeli airstrikes.
The revelation of the hostages' deaths in the Gaza Strip has led to a harsh response from Israel. Israel Katz, the Foreign Minister, has vowed retribution against Hamas for this heinous act in the Gaza Strip.
