Israel: Four people die during Hamas's captivity
Four captives from the extremist Islamic group Hamas were reported dead in their confinement, based on Israeli sources. Daniel Hagari, Israel's army spokesperson, confirmed the news on a Monday statement, specifying that the incident occurred in Khan Yunis within the southern Gaza Strip. Details of their passing were vague to begin with.
In a December video, Hamas displayed three of the aged captives. In March, the extremist group declared that the trio had lost their lives during Israeli assaults. However, these claims have yet to be authenticated by independent sources. It is speculated that many of the 124 captives in the Gaza Strip might have already perished.
