Iran summons the German ambassador
After the ban of the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) by the German Federal Interior Ministry, Iran summoned the German ambassador. The Foreign Ministry in Teheran announced this on a Wednesday.
The German Federal Interior Ministry justifies the ban by stating that the IZH propagates the ideology of the so-called Islamic Revolution in Iran "in an aggressively militant way" in Germany.
After the German ambassador was summoned, they discussed the IZH-Prohibition and its potential implications for German-Iranian relations. Despite the IZH ban, Iran continues to express strong diplomatic concerns.
