During the heat of the British general election, an intrusion happens at Rishi Sunak's residence: A group of four persons break into his property, one of them decides to take a whiz in the politician's pond. The quartet is apprehended by the cops merely a minute later.
Four individuals have been apprehended by the police in North England for invading the property of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. "We've arrested four individuals today on the grounds of the Premier Minister's house in his constituency (North Yorkshire)", the local authorities declared. The police were already present when the guys trespassed onto the property in the village of Kirby Sigston, as it was further revealed.
The four men, ranging in age from 20 to 52, who hail from various cities across the country, are being detained while the investigation continues, the police elaborated. A clip published by the activist group Youth Demand on Tuesday portrays a young man urinating in a pond on Sunak's property. Youth Demand, which is reportedly fighting against arms sales to Israel and against the Conservative British government's planned new oil and gas licensing, posted the clip.
Last summer, Greenpeace activists had draped Sunak's house with "petrol black" bedsheets to protest against the issuance of oil and gas permits. The United Kingdom is currently undergoing a parliamentary election set for July 4. It is expected that the Conservative Tories, who have been in power for 14 years, will lose power. Surveys show that the Labour Party, steered by party leader Keir Starmer, is consistently ahead of Sunak's party.
