A person is under investigation for keeping a female individual imprisoned in a pig pen for over five years, subjecting her to extreme mistreatment as claimed by "Polsat News", sourced from the prosecutor's office. This individual, aged 35, is accused of systematically abusing the 25-year-old woman, both physically and psychologically, and sexually assaulting her repeatedly. The woman was reportedly denied access to fresh water and hygiene essentials.

Consequence of this alleged crime would potentially result in a 25-year prison sentence for the individual residing in Gaiki, Lower Silesia. Previously, news outlet "Bild" covered the story.

Medical Alert

Upon medical admission, hospital staff raised concerns with authorities, as reported by the Glogow prosecutor to the radio station. The woman suffered from a dislocated shoulder but the severity of her previous injuries left the medical personnel in shock. According to "Polsat News", the woman gave birth to a child in the hospital, who was then put up for adoption.

The woman confessed to "Myglogow.pl" local news portal that she couldn't reveal the truth to doctors due to fear of further harm, following threats from the 35-year-old. The investigation is still ongoing.

A warrant for a search was issued. Request for an arrest warrant is pending. As reported by "Myglogow.pl", the woman encountered the accused on the internet in 2019. The village of Gaiki is located approximately 90 kilometers northwest of Wroclaw (formerly Breslau).

The suspect's home, where the alleged abuse occurred, was described as a pigsty by investigators during their search. Despite the harrowing conditions, the woman was determined to survive, living in what essentially amounted to a pig pen.
