In Lower Saxony, an individual takes down an agitated bovine using a firearm.
A rowdy bovine caused a commotion in Celle, Lower Saxony, creating a hazardous situation in a residential area and forcing a cyclist off their bike. As reported by the Celle police, the frothy beast proved impossible to tame and ultimately had to be put down by a marksman. Fortunately, the cyclist suffered no injuries.
On a Monday evening, the cow broke free and ran amok through the city for approximately one and a half hours in the Westercelle sector. Desperate attempts by both the police and farmers to soothe and capture the animal proved fruitless.
Its rampage led it to destroy various fences before it finally barged into the grounds of a nearby church. All attempts to calm it failed, and a vigilant hunter took aim and ended its spree. The cause behind its erratic behavior remains a mystery.
The police were alerted about the chaotic situation in Westercelle and joined the efforts to subdue the wild cow. Despite their best efforts, the police were unable to contain the animal.
