In a shocking double shooting incident, four people were severely wounded at a residence and a salon in Hagen. One of the victims is in critical condition as per the police. The authorities are still hunting for a 34-year-old suspect who has not been found as of the evening.

The wife of the alleged assailant is among the victims, confirms a spokesperson from the Dortmund police. Both crime sites are only 10 minutes away from each other. Preliminary findings hint that the motive behind this crime is related to the family dynamics.

The shootings happened around 11 a.m. as per police reports. The suspect allegedly shot his wife in their shared apartment in a multi-residential building on Hochstraße. Further, he fired a few rounds at a door on the floor above. Nobody was hurt there.

Afterward, the 34-year-old Turkish citizen drove to the salon and shot at three more people. One of these individuals was in critical condition in the evening, according to the police. The police spokesperson mentioned that the doctors had updated their statements earlier, indicating that the other three victims were not at risk of losing their lives. However, one had to be in a critical condition by evening.

The four injured victims were transported to different hospitals, information from the police. The police have not yet disclosed details about the other three victims. The Dortmund police have taken charge of the massive operation and established a dedicated team.
