In a shift of events, presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy decided to halt his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump.

Despite seemingly unlikely chances of success, Robert Kennedy Jr.'s presidential bid poses no less of a challenge to Trump and Harris. The Kennedy family scion has surprisingly aligned himself with Trump's campaign.

Kennedy Closes In Swing States, Endorses Trump

- In a shift of events, presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy decided to halt his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump.

In surveys conducted by political site "The Hill" this week, Kennedy garnered 8.7% support nationwide. Experts speculate that Kennedy's supporters in key battleground states could potentially shift the narrow margin in the ongoing Presidential race between Trump and his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris. Kennedy announced that he will withdraw his name from the ballot in these critical states, although he confirmed that his campaign suspension is not a complete abandonment of his bid. Voters in stronger party-aligned states are still free to cast their votes for him, according to CNN. Furthermore, Kennedy hinted at a potential role in Trump's government if he wins the election, though the specifics were left unclear.

Kennedy Levels Undemocratic Charges

Kennedy, known for his Democratic roots and family ties, grew increasingly distant from the party within recent years, finally declaring his political independence in October 2023 when he announced his independent candidacy for office. Kennedy, an advocate for vaccine skepticism, has often been criticized for spreading conspiracy theories and maintaining connections with far-right political figures by Democrats and other family members alike.

Recently, Kennedy has accused Democrats of employing undemocratic tactics to sway the election campaign against both him and Trump. "In the name of preserving democracy, the Democratic Party seeks to dismantle it," Kennedy claimed, implicating party leaders for leading a "legal war" against himself and Trump due to their lack of faith in their own nominee. Kennedy also called out the mainstream media for their biased reporting and described them as "mouthpieces for the government and stenographers for the ruling elite."

Kennedy has recently attracted attention for his sensational stories. Last week, he claimed to have discarded a bear carcass in New York's Central Park. During a trip in 2014, he reportedly found a dead bear cub, transported it in his car, and later abandoned it in the park. Initially, he had intended to skin the bear and preserve the meat, but an unexpected need to rush to the airport forced him to leave it behind. Back in 2014, a lifeless black bear did in fact make its way into Central Park - authorities were left to ponder the peculiar occurrence. Previously, Kennedy had made headlines following a newspaper report that suggested he attributed memory loss to a worm in his brain several years prior.

Kennedy's accusations of undemocratic tactics by Democrats could potentially influence the election narrative, as he claims they are using questionable methods to sway voters against him and Trump. Despite his controversial actions and statements, which include spreading conspiracy theories and allegedly abandoning a bear carcass, Kennedy's undemocratic charges against Democrats have caught the public's attention.
