In recent Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, at least eleven civilians have sadly lost their lives, as per reports from Palestinian news agency Wafa. Unspecified numbers of individuals were also wounded in Khan Yunis's southern city and in Nuseirat's central coastal strip region. Peace talks in Cairo aimed at achieving a ceasefire are ongoing.
The Israeli military was unable to disclose the exact locations where these fatalities occurred. Israel has been engaged in ongoing conflicts with the terrorist organization Hamas, which spans over ten months. They allege that Hamas employs civilians as human shields. Severe clashes were reported in the Gaza Strip's south, center, and even in its north.
Israel urged residents of Gaza City in its northern region to evacuate westwards towards the sea on Friday. Previously, the city had been a consistent source of rocket attacks against Israel. Since then, Israeli troops have moved into the area, reportedly eliminating several adversaries and dismantling terrorist infrastructure, as per the military.

As per the health authority controlled by Hamas, since the war commenced last October, over 40,000 people have perished and more than 90,000 have been injured in the Gaza Strip. The distinction between civilians and fighters is not made by this authority. Israel has reportedly resulted in at least 14,000 casualties amongst armed personnel.
The catalyst for the Gaza war was the most devastating massacre in Israel's history, with over 1,200 fatalities, orchestrated by Islamic Hamas and other extremist groups on October 7.
