Huthi Administration: Number of Dead from Israeli Air Raids Reaches 6

The number of dead after an Israeli air raid on Huthi targets in Yemen has risen to six, according to statements from the Islamist militia. The health ministry, which is controlled by the militia, announced on Sunday that "six people were killed, three are missing and 83 others were injured" in the attacks on Saturday in the port city of Hodeida.

One day after a deadly drone attack by the Iran-backed Huthis on Tel Aviv, Israel responded for the first time on Saturday with a counter-attack on targets of the militia in Yemen. A power plant and fuel storage facility in the Hodeida port were hit, as well as a large fire started. The fire department was still fighting the flames on Sunday according to Huthi reports.

The Iranian regime condemned the Israeli attacks of the previous day "in the strongest terms" on Sunday. Spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanani, warned against an "escalation of tensions" in the region.

The initial reported death toll from the Israeli air raid on Huthi targets in Yemen, as announced by the Huthi-Authorities' health ministry, stands at six. Due to the air raid, the number of missing individuals within the host-conflict has also increased to three.
