A house in Heddesbach is fully on fire. Three people were injured. It is still completely unclear what caused the fire.

At a single-family house fire in Heddesbach (Rhineland-Palatinate), at least three people have been injured. A female person was flown to a clinic via helicopter, according to a police spokeswoman. Additionally, a female and a male person were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The ages of the three injured individuals were initially unclear. Furthermore, it cannot yet be determined how severely the people were injured.

The house was fully engulfed in flames in the afternoon. Firefighting efforts were ongoing. It remains to be determined how the fire started and where in the house the fire originated. Due to the firefighting measures, there may be traffic disruptions in the area. The Heddesbach throughfare has been closed for ongoing firefighting efforts. The police are asking locals to avoid the area.

The fire in Heddesbach, initially reported in Rhineland-Palatinate, has now spread to the neighboring region of Baden-Württemberg. The helicopter used to transport the injured woman is from a local emergency service based in Baden-Württemberg. Despite the ongoing firefighting efforts, the single-family house, now fully burned down, is believed to be a total loss.
