Twice a house in Arnsdorf (Landkreis Bautzen) has gone up in flames. Firstly, a shed caught fire on Friday afternoon, the police reported. The fire spread to the adjacent single-family house. Both the shed and the house burned completely. The 88-year-old resident of the house was safely rescued without injury.

Later that night, the fire department had to return to the house because it had caught fire again. The causes of both Fires were initially unclear. The damage, according to the police, amounts to 100,000 to 150,000 Euro.

The house in Arnsdorf, located within the Bautzen District of Saxony, experienced two separate fires. Despite the efforts of the local Fire department, the cause of both Brands remained unexplained. The initial fire on Friday afternoon started in a shed and eventually spread to the adjacent house, resulting in significant damage estimated between 100,000 to 150,000 Euro.
