House ablaze in Solingen: 22 individuals hurt.
A month after a fatal fire claimed four lives in Solingen, another house is up in flames, but with a happy ending this time. The fire department could rescue the residents, although several people have been injured.
22 individuals received medical attention after a house fire in Solingen. This includes the rescue crew who arrived on the scene first, as reported by the fire department. The majority of the hurt victims suffered from smoke inhalation.
Smoke was seen pouring out of windows both at the front and back of the three-story residence when the fire department arrived. The stairwell was reportedly already burning by the time they got there, according to the Blaulicht Aktuell Solingen portal.
The house's occupants had called for assistance, and they managed to save ten people, including two families, using a ladder truck. The building is currently uninhabitable. Twelve out of the 22 hurt victims were brought to the hospital. A police spokesperson couldn't provide any information on the cause of this blaze by the evening.
