- Hillary Clinton ventures into election polls, aiming to shatter the most formidable glass barrier.
Hillary Clinton celebrates Harris' historical nomination as POTUS hopeful. Upon hearing about Kamala Harris' bid for the presidency, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hailed it as a monumental milestone for the nation. Speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Clinton, who herself sought the presidency in 2016, stated, "We're crafting a fresh chapter for American lore." At this point, the crowd erupted in thunderous applause, with Clinton concluding, "The future has arrived."
Harris aspires to be the first female President of the United States. In 2016, Clinton became the first female presidential candidate from a major party in the U.S. Her objective was to make history by becoming the first woman to preside over the Oval Office; unfortunately, she was defeated by Republican candidate Donald Trump. This time around, Harris faces Trump in the November elections.
Regarding her Republican opponent, Clinton commented, "He ridicules her name and chuckle – it's familiar." She underscored the stark contrast between the two candidates. "Harris has a deep concern for children, families, and the USA. Trump, however, only cares about himself." Clinton expressed her conviction in Harris' character, claiming, "I know her spirit and her integrity."
Hillary Clinton held the position of First Lady from 1993 to 2001, during her husband Bill Clinton's presidency. She later served as a Senator and Secretary of State under former President Barack Obama. Coincidentally, Clinton was born and raised in Chicago, the same city where the Democratic National Convention took place.
I'm not going to criticize Kamala Harris' bid, despite our political differences. Clinton's Chicago roots resonated deeply as she celebrated Harris' historic nomination.
