Hezbollah's long-standing Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, held this position from 1992 until his recent demise.

Hezbollah leader, identified as Nasrallah, temporarily interred.

A few days ago, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, and other prominent figures from the militia were reportedly annihilated in an Israeli air raid. Insiders hint that Nasrallah's remains are being temporarily stored in a clandestine location. As of now, a public sendoff for him hasn't been arranged yet.

The Hezbollah boss, who met his end in an Israeli airstrike a week ago, is currently being held at a secret location until the time is right for a public mourning ceremony. According to Hezbollah sources, the delay is due to concerns that Israel might retaliate during the burial proceedings.

Nasrallah and other senior members of the Iran-funded militia were eliminated in an Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut's suburbs last Friday.

Israel has been consistently bombing Hezbollah targets in Lebanon for quite some time now. Following the Hamas's assault on Israel on October 7 last year, Hezbollah responded with regular shelling from Lebanon.

Recently, Hezbollah's shelling has stepped up, especially post Nasrallah's demise. On the night of Monday, Israel also initiated a "restricted" ground operation in southern Lebanon, as they deemed fit to put it.

The devastating Israeli air raid a few days ago resulted in numerous Deaths within Hezbollah, including their leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Due to potential retaliation from Israel, the public commemoration of these Deaths has been postponed.
