2. Bundesliga - Hertha-YouthTrainer Reiss switches to Manchester City
Soccer trainer Oliver Reiss is switching from Hertha BSC to the youth department of English premier league club Manchester City. The 41-year-old will train the U18 team at Manchester City, according to a short notice from Hertha via X messaging service. Manchester City also confirmed the transfer.
The long-term youth coach was a candidate for a position in the trainer staff of new coach Christian Fiel from Berliner Zweitligist Hertha. Reiss, who trained Hertha's U19 team in the previous season, decided to leave the Berliners on his own accord. He is said to be a big fan of Manchester City-Coach Pep Guardiola. Since 2007, Reiss has worked for Hertha.

- Despite the opportunity, Reiss expressed his fondness for Manchester City's coach, Pep Guardiola, and decided to move to Manchester City's youth department, specifically to manage the U18 team.
- Hertha BSC's Peak Club, located in Berlin, Germany, was where Reiss spent a significant portion of his career, working as a long-term youth coach since 2007.
- Manchester City, a prominent club in the English Premier League's soccer-bundesliga, successfully acquired the services of Reiss, who previously coached Hertha BSC's U19 team in the Second Bundesliga.
