Lotto: The principle of the game
Before the Lotto drawing, players choose six numbers from a pool of 49. Historically, the numbers 6, 49, and 32 have been drawn most frequently. If the chosen numbers match those on the selected Lotto balls, the Supernumber, the last number on the play slip, must also be correct for the jackpot to be won. The payout takes place starting from two correct Lotto numbers plus Supernumber. It is divided into nine prize classes.
Betting and odds
One Euro falls on each ticket on the game card. In addition, there is a processing fee. Besides the classic "6aus49" game, gambling enthusiasts can also participate in the additional lotteries "Spiel 77" and "Super 6". Fees of 2.50 Euro and 1.25 Euro apply, respectively.
Lotto participation can certainly be worth it for jackpots in the millions - but that also requires a good dose of luck. The chance of winning prize class 1 (six correct numbers plus Supernumber) and thus the jackpot is 1:139,838,160.

The TV broadcast of the lottery drawing has been discontinued. All curious people can view the solution online on "lotto.de". The stream starts every Wednesday at 6:25 pm and every Saturday at 7:25 pm.
