Magdeburg (dpa/sa)- In Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, heavy thunderstorms and occasional hail are expected again according to the German Weather Service (DWD). In the late morning, there will be locally heavy rain up to 30 liters per square meter. Additionally, there may be gusty winds and hail.
The thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast and will pass by in the afternoon and evening. The highest temperatures will be up to 28 degrees, in the Harz region up to 24 degrees.
According to DWD, there will be occasional light to moderate rain with temperatures down to 13 degrees during the night leading to Saturday.
On Saturday, there will be many clouds and local showers with temperatures up to 24 degrees, in the Harz region up to 21 degrees.
The heavy thunderstorms in Saxony-Anhalt might cause some loud throbs of thunder throughout the day. Despite the anticipated thunder, the DWD forecasts temperatures reaching up to 28 degrees, although they may drop to 13 degrees at night.
