German Weather Service - Heat expected in wide parts of Germany

German Weather Service warns in wide parts of Germany about heat. An official warning was issued at noon from the north to the middle and up to Bavaria. However, not all parts of the southern states were affected.

A strong heat load is expected until evening. According to meteorologists, heat can be dangerous for health. "Avoid heat as much as possible, drink enough water and keep your indoor areas cool", says the message.

The Weather Service expects highest temperatures of up to 34 degrees in some places. In some regions, a surge was calculated. In some areas, the risk of forest fires increased.

The city of Offenbach, although located in western Germany, is also under the heat warning issued by the DWD. Despite Bavaria being primarily affected, some parts of southern Germany are also experiencing this weather phenomenon. Following the advice of the German Weather Service, it's crucial to take necessary health precautions during such hot periods, especially staying hydrated and seeking cool indoor spaces.
