- Gunfire at Central Station - Individual Involved was 27 Years Old

At Frankfurt's primary hub, a tragic incident occurred on platform 9 of track 9 on a Tuesday evening around 9 PM. A 27-year-old individual was fatally shot by an assailant. The perpetrator, aged 54, was apprehended shortly after the incident by federal law enforcement at track 7 without putting up a fight. The victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Investigators discovered the suspected firearm used in the crime during their examination of the site. The 54-year-old suspect is due in court today, where a judge will determine whether they should be held in custody.

Both individuals are of Turkish nationality, and the reasons behind this violent act are still being probed.

The case has been handed over to The Office of the Prosecutor to determine the charges against the 54-year-old suspect. The investigation by The Office of the Prosecutor will also seek to establish any potential motives for the shooting.
