- Governance in the face of radiant scrutiny poses challenges

Olaf Scholz, the Chancellor, finds leading this coalition of SPD, Greens, and FDP rather tough. He mentioned this during the Sat.1 show ":newstime Spezial", titled "Where does Germany stand?", set to air in the evening. According to him, "Governing is tough too, but it's the outcomes that matter."

In the context of the 'traffic light' coalition making decisions now, there's always the risk that the chaos of the situation, much like the smoke from a battlefield, could conceal the actual state of affairs. This often clouds the true performance.

Regarding Green party leader Omid Nouripour's comment that the 'traffic light' coalition is "a transitional government following the Merkel era", Scholz responded with a straightforward, "Every government is the one preceding the next - and sometimes, it's the same one." The 'traffic light' coalition needs to keep its focus on overcoming the challenges at hand.

Despite the challenges faced by the 'traffic light' coalition, led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the FDP remains a crucial part of the coalition's decision-making process. Maintaining the support of all coalition partners, including the FDP, is essential for the coalition to successfully navigate through the tough governance period.
