Weather - Good prospect for quarter-finals outside in the jersey
Three low-pressure systems are making the weather currently look more autumnal than summery. Those who want to see the EM-quarterfinal game outside on Friday, according to the forecast of the German Weather Service (DWD), have a chance: it won't be warm, but at least it won't be raining.
"In the northwest and north, it's raining again, and the wind is still occasionally gusty there. Elsewhere, it's mostly dry, and the wind is lively but not strong," said DWD meteorologist Martin Jonas. "This will please those who have already secured a Public-Viewing-Area where they can follow the German team's game in Stuttgart - or even the Portuguese against France in Hamburg."
To the south of the Main, temperatures are around 24 degrees. A jersey is sufficient clothing. In the second half of the evening game, it could get cooler, especially if the game goes into extra time. Temperatures in the east are more pleasant. In the northwest and north, however, one should dress warmly and raincoat-protected. Temperatures are not above 20 degrees.
- Despite the three low-pressure systems creating an autumnal weather, soccer fans in Hesse, like those in Offenbach, are eagerly awaiting the EM quarterfinal game.
- The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts that it won't rain during the evening game in Stuttgart, providing a chance for EM enthusiasts wearing their favorite jerseys to enjoy the match outside.
- In Hesse, temperatures are relatively high, making a jersey an adequate clothing choice, but in the northwest and north, fanatics should bundle up and carry raincoats due to the cooler weather and possible rain showers.
- Due to the comfortable temperatures in the east of Germany, EM spectators will have the happiness of watching their favorite teams without worrying about the weather, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere.
- The low pressure area affecting Germany might bring some challenges with its cooler temperatures and possible rain, but it certainly won't dampen the spirits of soccer fans eager to support their teams in this exciting European Championship event.
