German military, Bundeswehr, places multi-billion euro order for artillery ammunition.
The German military, Bundeswehr, has green-lit a huge expenditure of up to 8.5 billion Euro for artillery shells from Rheinmetall. A deal for the delivery of 155mm artillery ammo, according to their announcement in Duesseldorf, was inked on Thursday.
The main purpose of this order is to beef up ammo reserves in Bundeswehr and allied states' arsenals, and to assist Ukraine in its battle against Russia.
