The German Masters in Schlickruten are set. At the Schlickruten in Nordseebad Dangast, participants, both male and female, have to cover a distance of approximately 150 meters on the Wattboden using special wooden sleds. They kneel on one leg on the sled and push with the other. Over 1,000 people watched the Schlickruten competition. The event is part of the "Watt en Schlick Festivals", which opened on a Friday.
