German fuel prices continue to decline.
Gasoline prices in Germany have taken a nose dive, with a liter now costing an average of 1.781 euros nationwide as of Wednesday, marking a 1.9 cent decrease from the previous week. The drop is less significant for diesel, which has fallen to an average of 1.645 euros per liter.
ADAC, a drivers' association, notes that while the current dip in prices is beneficial for motorists, it should actually be much more substantial. According to the organization, the price of Super E10 is similar to where it was during mid-March this year. Interestingly, at that time, Brent crude oil was selling for around $10 more than it is today.
So, when's the best time to fuel up your car? ADAC suggests that you should top up between 8 pm and 10 pm, when gasoline is especially affordable compared to the wee hours of morning. You'll also find cheaper gas prices between 6 pm and 7 pm.
